Printer Setup

Set up your devices to Print

Staff and students at ADC can connect to the site UNCLASSIFIED print network across the campus. Below are instructions for installing printers to your device. Staff with a DLT issued Chromebook have this installed by default.

Few things to consider when connecting to the Printers in ADC:

If you are still unable to print, see below as there's a PaperCut Web Print Service that will allow you to print successfully.

For any further issues, please visit the ADELE Support Office located in the basement of the Geddes Building, Room 18-01-09.

Setting up Mobility Print on your device

a) Scan this QR code (for mobile/tablet) and tap "Download" to install the print driver.

b) Navigate to this URL - https://printsrv.adele.edu.au:9164/setup/ and click "Download" to get the driver installation file for desktop devices or mobile devices which don't have camera or QR scanning functionality.

*NOTE: The printsrv page will automatically determine what your device type is and present you with the correct file based on your device.

2. Run the installer - select each printer you'd like access to when printing from your device.

*Note: This step is not required on a Mac device; all printers are selected by default.

3. When prompted enter your Google Gsuite login credentials to connect to the network. This will be your firstname.lastname@adele.edu.au Google account login details.

Note: For Mac users receiving the "Hold for Authentication" message after entering the Google workspace credentials suggests that the username or password is incorrect. We recommend Mac users to not save their password to their keychain during this step and enter the password manually.

Printing your document

1. Go to "Print" inside the application you wish to print from. This is generally CTRL + P  or  CMD + P  on Windows/Mac.

If you can't see the printer you'd like to print to in the dropdown list under 'Destination', click the dropdown list and choose 'See more...'

*NOTE: This example is for the Chrome browser, the menu may be different in other applications.

2. Each available cloud printer at ADC will be listed with the tag (Mobility) at the end of its name, as seen to the right. Each printer is named based on the building it is in, the list is below:
